The United Federation of Planets, often shortened to Federation, was an interstellar organization. Peace was the primary fundamental on which the Federation was based.
At some point in the 2360s, the Federation banned the use of marijuana on all of their starships due to "some new bogus health law." This, however, did not prevent several members of the USS Enterprise-D crew from continuing to use it, even while on duty.[1][2]
Bill Clinton accused his wife, Hillary, of causing the death of a Federation ambassador after she "deleted [...] classified communications and gave [...] sex toys to the Gorn." She rebutted part of his argument, stating that it was his idea to give the Gorn the sex toys, but she did not deny the rest of the accusation.[3]
