Background and trivia

• This chapter is an adaptation of the Star Trek Online missions "Under the Cover of Night" and "S'harien's Swords".
  • Both of the missions were removed from the game in 2015, nevertheless, CaptFredricks still decided to adapt them.
  • In the case of "S'harien's Swords", parts of it were repurposed for the new mission "Desperate Measures". However, the setting for the original mission, the Dimorus system, was not reused, allowing Capt to use it for this chapter.
  • The star system that "Under the Cover of Night" originally took place in was the Agrama system, but it is used in the new mission, "Empress Sela". Thus, the reason for Capt changing the location.
• An early stardate considered for this chapter was 83966.8.
