The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) was a Federation Galaxy starship in service to Starfleet during the 24th century.^{[citation needed]}

In 2368, the ship encountered the Devidians in Starfleet's last known contact with the species. The Enterprise crew was forced to pursue the Devidians back to the 19th century where they were using a cholera outbreak on Earth as cover for their harvesting of Human neural energy.
