Tour of Duty arc (original)

Tour of Duty is a story arc that spans chapters 0 and 0.5 of Star Trek: Federation Legacy. The chapters were replaced by chapters 1 and 2 in 2014, forming a new Tour of Duty arc.

In this arc, most of the main and secondary characters are introduced, Jason Fredricks takes command of the USS Leviathan after its senior staff is wiped out by the Borg, and several of his fellow graduates take up senior officer positions on the ship.

Background and trivia

• Both of these chapters were considered to be "volume 0" until 2021, when CaptFredricks decided to stop volumizing Star Trek: Federation Legacy.
• This arc is loosely based on the Tour of Duty arc from Star Trek Online, which was removed from the game in 2013.
• This arc was also alternatively called the Borg Advance arc.
