29 May (2259.41), Alternate timeline: The USS Enterprise encounters a spatial anomaly that sends Captain James T. Kirk, Commander Spock, and Doctor Leonard McCoy into an alternate reality where Earth has fallen under the control of a mysterious man named X. While trying to find a way back to their reality, the trio comes face to face with X and his subordinates. Kirk decides that X cannot be allowed to retain control of Earth, and a fight ensues, leaving casualties on both sides.^[1]
