Starbase 24 was a Federation space station operating in 2409.
History
On stardate 83179.9, the USS Leviathan was headed to the starbase to pick up supplies and some duty officers, but their arrival was delayed when they responded to a distress call from the cargo freighter SS Azura. After dealing with Orion pirates who had attacked the Azura, the Leviathan proceeded to Starbase 24 as planned.[1]
On stardate 83224.1, Starbase 24 was once again visited by the Leviathan. This time, two bridge officer candidates departed from the starbase to join the Leviathan's crew.[2]
