Project L.A.N.C.E.R. was a dual weapon experiment and plan founded by Grand admiral Solarmetric. The weapon's development was separated into two stages, called Plans A and B.

Plan A[]
Plan A was first introduced in the events of "War of the Universes". It was a Exo-Suit that was powered by stable Omega Particles. One suit alone can destroy a Starship from the inside out. The have a shield system that is more powerful than your standard Shield System on a Starship. The suit was being mass produce, but never saw action due to it's destruction by the Joint Federation-Republic Forces. The prototype was used, but ultimately failed.
Plan B[]
Plan B was mentioned in "War of the Universes", but was introduced in the Project Lancer story. It was a massive super weapon built on Thalaron radiation and Epsilon Energy. Its power came from a unnamed planet’s core that is near the galactic center of the milky way. This super weapon has enough power to destroy all life in a Galaxy. Plan A, even though built for combat was also build to construct the weapon in a matter of days. But with the fall of the plan, Tu'Cul created and perfected self-replicating nanites that take control of the host’s mind and makes them do their bidding. Commodore Naomi Smith is the master control of the nanites and has the Alpha Quadrant Alliance under her control. She use them to construct the weapon in a few months. The perfected nanites slightly enhances the host, make them slightly stronger and more durable to phasers on stun. The weapon was completed and was if the firing process, but was sabotage when a joint alliance of the Interspecies Republic, Reformed Terran Empire, H.O.M.E. Fleet and the Delta Alliance forces. Plan B was destroyed, thus ending Project L.A.N.C.E.R. for good.
