Kara Carlson is a Human female who lives in the 24th century and services the Federation, Starfleet as chief conn officer onboard the Flagship of the Federation Fleet USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain John Branson and fights in the Second Earth-Romulan War. Early life[]
Carlson was born on Earth on 1 April 2343 to Mary and Adam Carlson as well as the sister of Steven Carlson, and wanted to join Starfleet from an early age.

Starfleet Academy[]
During her senior year at Starfleet Academy Kara played on a parrises squares team which made it to the collegiate finals.
USS Galaxy[]
During her tenure there she was recruited by Captain Nicolas Simms to a position on the USS Galaxy as assistant conn officer.
USS Peterson[]
In 2371, Ensign Carlson served onboard the USS Peterson under the command of Captain Alex Nelson, and while onboard she met Lieutenant Commander John Branson who was posted there while on detached duty from the Enterprise-D and the two became fast friends and when he was picked up by the USS Defiant they promised to meet again and serve with each other again.
USS Potemkin[]
In 2373 Carlson was posted to the Excelsior-class USS Potemkin and she showed off her flying skills during the Dominion War especially during the First Battle of Chin'toka when the Ninth Battlegroup was sent there to take it from the enemy, and she showed it off during the final battle to end the war.
She served as helm office onboard the Potemkin until 2380.

In 2380, Carlson was assigned a chief conn officer on board the flagship of the Federation the USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain John Branson.
