D'Tan was a male Romulan who lived during the 25th century. He served as proconsul of the Romulan Republic as of 2409.[1]
Biography[]
According to Kaol, D'Tan had "begun to unite [the Romulan] people in ways not seen since the destruction of Romulus nearly 22 years ago." D'Tan had also begun to make amends with the Remans, who had been subjugated by the Romulan imperial government for several centuries.[1]
D'Tan was a supporter of reunification between the Romulans and the Vulcans and followed the example of Ambassador Spock of Vulcan.[2]
He also was actively working to establish peace talks between the Federation and the Klingon Empire as of 2409.[3]
