The Ban Tribe was an ethnic group that was nearly wiped out by General Esdeath and her soldiers.[1] Only a few descendants survived into the late 27th century.[2]

History Edit

The Ban Tribe elders would often teach younger members meditation techniques to stay their "spiritual" emotions. Henter was one such individual taught these techniques.[3]

At some point in the past, Esdeath had her armies destroy numerous Ban Tribe villages. Her soldiers also brutally raped and murdered many of the mothers right in front of their children.[1] Esdeath later became known as the "Ice Demon" to members of the Ban Tribe because of her brutality.[4]

After having massacred nearly all of the Ban Tribe, Esdeath only left some leaders, elders, and children alive. One such child was Howlingmoon's mother, who suffered from PTSD for the rest of her life, until she tragically committed suicide.[5] Many of the survivors were killed by bandits and ferocious beasts, while a few took refuge with other tribes on Emperia.[2]
