Until now, on all articles that I've copied over from Memory Alpha, I tried to take the time to "rewrite" as much of them as I could, to make it seem less like a copy/paste. This process, however, takes a very large amount of time, time which could be better spent improving articles exclusive to this wiki. Therefore, from this point forward, an article copied from MA is fine, provided you include a link to the page's respective counterpart on MA in the "External Links" section.

I am making an update to this thread. While we have not been asked to remove content taken directly from MA, I don't wish to cause any confusion or disagreement. Therefore, in addition to the external link to the MA version of the page in the appendix, I'd also like everyone to add this tag just below the sidebar/infobox. It will only appear when editing, but will help avoid unwanted argument.
